Year 3 had a fantastic time when Adrian Chapman, dressed as a Roman Soldier, spent the day delivering an exciting history workshop. Throughout the day, the children learnt about what life was like for a Roman Legionary soldier and the equipment they carried, whilst learning about Roman Numerals and how to play Roman Rummy and a game about Hadrian’s wall. In the afternoon, the children were armed with shields and foam javelins to practise battle tactics.
