This afternoon, representatives of 6W had the honour of being the first children to visit the site of the South West Water Development works.
Why is this so exciting? 6W were winners of our school-wide competition to name the Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) that will be digging a giant tunnel under Bernice Terrace in the coming weeks. Whilst up against stiff competition from the rest of the school, 6W's choice of 'Doug' struck a chord and was the overwhelming choice in our whole school vote.
It was fantastic to see all the exciting work that is being carried out on our school field. We look forward to taking more groups along soon.
